Price Lowenstein Prior to the formation of Sovereign in 1997, Price was Vice President and Director of Guy Carpenter & Company's (a Marsh & McLennan subsidiary) Asia-Pacific Group, specializing in political risk insurance and reinsurance in China and Taiwan. Price was also Director of Political Risk Services at the Aon Corporation prior to joining Guy Carpenter. In this position, he specialized in country risk assessment and the design of political risk insurance programs for multinationals investing in emerging markets. Price has an MA in China Studies and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C., a BSc in Political Science from Colorado College, and two language degrees in Mandarin Chinese from the Royal Hong Kong Language Institute and from National Taiwan University in Taipei.
