Nila Davda | Vice President and Senior Underwriting Officer

Nila is involved in analyzing and underwriting a variety of political risk insurance transactions for commercial banks, multilateral agencies, ECAs and capital markets. Nila is also responsible for Sovereign's marketing and advertising initiatives. Nila joined Sovereign from the World Bank's International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she was a senior syndication officer in the Syndication and International Securities Group. In this capacity, she was responsible for arranging funding with financial institutions worldwide for IFC projects under its B loan program.

Prior to joining the IFC, Nila worked at the World Bank's Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) as a political risk underwriter covering investment-related transactions in emerging markets.

Nila has a BSc in political science and economics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and a MBA in International Business from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Arizona.
