Jack Collier | Vice President & General Counsel

As General Counsel, Jack works on all legal and transactional areas of Sovereign's business. These include transactional reviews, claims/recovery management and finance/administrative matters. Jack joined Sovereign from the Galtney Group in Houston where he was General Counsel. Previously, Jack practiced corporate and securities law at Bracewell & Patterson in Houston and spent several years in London on secondment as in-house counsel for a Lloyd's political risk underwriting syndicate.

While at Lloyd's, Jack handled all legal aspects of the syndicate's political risk portfolio, including underwriting, policy negotiation and claims handling. Jack has a BA in Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin and his JD from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
